Old business
- Shannon: Peter motions to get shoes tattooed on his feet to incorporate
tattoos and new shoes.
- Camping trip: all that went had much fun. The great skull Copernicus kept us
all safe and sound, other than the guy that did not make it home. There were 10
attendees, 2 drop ins, and 2 bio dogs. This trip was a collaboration between
the boys of leather and AZ pups and Handlers. Woof.
- Gear night: lots of men in gear came out in support.
- Demo night: this was the fundraising night for the Phoenix rugby team. $450
was raised with eight of the boys participating. Thank you all and thank you
Peter and Loki for getting the night set up.
- Wax a Bear: info at www.waxabear.org. Look it up. All you need to know about
it is on the site or for more information, ask Shannon. Thanks to Shannon and
Loki and others for working so hard on this event!
- Nasty Santa: we voted on doing this fundraiser for 1in10 (which also operates
YEP House). It will be on Dec. 10 at the Anvil. More to come in the next month
or two. Alan is working on this event and it sounds like it will prove to be a
lot of fun once again – and for a good cause.
- APEX demo: looking to doing it in March at this point. Please contact Shannon
with any questions or you would like to volunteer to help out.
New business -
Costume party: at Scott’s on Oct. 22 at 44th St and Camelback. Loki is sending
the address later.
- boys on film: Oct. 23, it’s going to be at the Arizona Center, go to the site
and vote for the movie you want to see. Thanks Loki for organizing this monthly
event. Lunch prior, anyone?
- Wet & Wild day: the plan is to have it on May 20, 2012. Please contact Eagle
or Loki for more info.
- Haunted House: show up at Daddy Kenneth & Marcus’s house at 9pm on Oct. 21 so
we can carpool and not pay as much for parking. The website with ticket prices
will be posted to the list.
- Gear night: Saturday before Halloween at Anvil. So come out in gear or
costume. Halloween is always a lot of fun for the boys.
- Friends of the boys: it was voted by the members to induct Eric as a Friend
of the Boys. Thank you for all of your help and participation. We appreciate
you!
