- Shannon: he got a promotion at work, congrats. He also got in a car wreck but the insurance paid off his truck.
- Black and Blue Ball and Gear Night: Shannon Emceed and there were demos done by a number of boys.
- Pride: there was a great showing of boys and others from the leather community. Thanks to the Albuquerque boys who showed up and walked with us. And thank you to Daddy Kenneth and Dan for organizing it and Rocko for getting the cars. Numerous people performed demos in the adult tent.
- CLAW: Loki went with his Sir and represented and promoted the Phoenix boys of Leather well.
- Albuquerque trip: Bamm-Bamm went to their coming out event and represented us well.
- Gong Karaoke: there was a good turnout of boys and there was a lot of fun. Shannon and Marcus thank you for coming out.

New business

- boys on film: the Avengers at AMC Biltmore Friday, 05/11/2012 evening. More info to be posted on the list.
- IML: at the end of the month. YAAAY!
- Phoenix boys of Leather’s 10th Anniversary: official date is June 22. Party at Rocko’s that weekend. And we’ll celebrate with the community at June’s Gear Night at Anvil.
- Rugy team fundraiser: Peter will be heading this up and sending info as it becomes available. Possibly September.
- ILSb Ad: if you want to help with paying for it please give your money to Loki. It would be great to do a 10 year anniversary ad inviting others to celebrate with us in June. Deadline is June 1st.

- Shannon: he has a new, temporary tattoo (ie, a hickey). He is also planning on getting a real tattoo of a puzzle piece, since he is very puzzling.
- Bob D.’s memorial service: 04/15/2012 at Friends @3pm. If you can, please show up and pay your respects and wear your club colors.
- Leather in the Desert: Bamm-Bamm is the new Southwest Leather boy 2012. Congrats to Bamm-Bamm and all the boys that helped in whatever capacity that they did. We also made friends with the Albuquerque boys of Leather and their representative boy Mateo. boy Mateo from AboL (Abq boys of Leather) presented their colors for the first time this weekend and marched in the Color Guard where they also presented the New Mexico flag. We are proud of boy Leon for his hard work and appreciated boy Mateo coming to represent them. Whose ready to go up there in April??
- Gear Night Demos – Fire and Ice! thank you for all of those who came out and either participated or showed your support. Daddy Stephen and Bob did fireplay, Loki and Hunter did iceplay, Daddy Stephen and Alan did wax play, Bill Mitchell did electroplay (with several of the attendees), Sir Eric and Loki did a flogging scene, and Sir George and pup rocko and Alan did a Cigar Play demo on the patio. All in all, it was a lot of fun and very well received.
- Loki’s XXX Birthday Bash: he raised over $700 towards his IML travel fund. He thanks all of those that participated and helped.
- boys on Film: those that went saw John Carter. Some enjoyed the movie, others, not so much.
- Shannon’s fisting, boys, and the hankerchief code APEX demo: Shannon did a great job with his demo with Oscar and Bob. APEX is asking that we do more demos as a community builder.
- Bizarre bazaar: the boys had a table next to the bootblack station and we just had fun talking and meeting with other people in the link community.

New business
- Albuquerque Spring Pandemonium: the weekend of 04/13/2012. Contact Bamm-Bamm for more info. This is the first event for the ABQ boys of Leather.
- Phoenix Pride: 04/20 – 04/21. There are demos going on in the adult tent. Bill Mitchell sent an email out with the list of demos and times as well as what demos needed volunteers. Contact Bill for which demos you want to do. There is a parade entry for the entire leather community and we are asked to walk in it. Please wear your colors and legal/weather appropriate attire. We will be carrying our colors and the boy flag.
- Prison Party: 04/14/2012 at Anvil @10pm. Come out and support Loki.
- Gong Karaoke: Shannon and Marcus are putting this on at 04/07/2012 at Friends @7pm. The proceeds go to 1 in 10. It’s $1 to sing, $1 to gong, and $1 to keep singing.
- ILSb ad: Bamm-Bamm is asking for us to buy an ad for the ISLb program – If you are interested helping out, contact Rocko.
- Gear Night: the last one before IML. It should be fun.
- Black and Blue Ball, same night as gear night. If you want to do a demo, contact Bamm-Bamm.

- Super Bowl Party: a lot of the boys were there and Loki raised $600
for his travel fund.
- Southwest Leather Sir/boy contest: first weekend of March. Come out
and support Dusty as he competes.
- Boys on film: Jim, Marcus, Dave, Eagle and Daddy Kenneth watched The
Woman in Black. Let me say, very good and creepy.

New business
- Leather in the Desert: it’s this weekend, schedule is out at
www.southwestleathersir.com. We will be presenting the colors at the
contest on Saturday night at the bunkhouse at 9pm.
- Gear Night Demos: We will be demoing fire, ice, electro and wax play
on 03/30/2012 at the Anvil. Loki will be sending

- Nasty Santa: we raised $330 for Valley 1 in 10. Micheal Weakley came to accept the funds and he was very appreciative.
- Anvil demo night: it’s on 03/31/2012 and will be called Fire & Ice Night. There will be fire, ice, wax and electricity. If you are wanting to bottom, contact Loki. All the tops have been arranged.
- APEX demos: Shannon is still setting up a Monday night talk for 02/27/2012. It will be a discussion of the boys and a history of the hanky code. If you want to present along with the boys just show up.
Anniversaries: Last month Rocko and Dave celebrated their 7th year and Marcus and Kenneth celebrated their 6th.
